A Tale of Two Sewers

The citizens of Lake View all know the story of how the town was formed. A private sewer owner from Leeds, Alabama worked with a small group of area residents to hoodwink the small community into forming a 1.6 square mile municipality in order to establish a local government that would provide favorable legislation and financial benefits to his residential developments. The outcome has not been to the benefit of the residents of those developments nor those who live in the established communities Mike White used to form the Town of Lake View.
